The Signature Hole
From the very air that surrounds it, you can sense tradition and prestige.
With that single stroke, place your own history and skill upon it.
A venerable course where accumulated history and tradition intersect,
even evoking a sense of dignity and prestige.
What welcomes the golfers who arrive at this land is the coincidence created by nature and the inevitability crafted through meticulous design.
The essence of golf that can only be expressed through these two opposing forces delivers a moment in time that can be experienced only here.

- Overview
-
A strategic par-4 featuring a water carry.
Plan & Play
A magnificent pond-carry hole that transforms beautifully with each season. Making skillful use of the natural terrain, it is known as one of the most challenging holes on the West Course, demanding strategy and technique. For the first shot, aiming at the water tower ahead is the safe option. Be careful of the lateral water hazard on the right. For the second shot, make sure not to drop the ball into the pond in front. The green is faster from the back. While the tension is palpable, please enjoy a comfortable and rewarding round.
Tips
For the tee shot, the right side is a one-stroke penalty and the left side is OB, so aim for the center of the fairway. Long hitters may attempt a one-on challenge, but the difficulty is high as the green is small and surrounded by a pond. For the second shot, a slightly longer distance is the safer choice. The green is small, horizontally long, and a simple receiving green, so be careful not to overread the slope.
