Important Information for Your Visit

At CHUKYO GOLF CLUB ISHINO COURSE, we have set the following regulations to ensure that all guests can enjoy a comfortable and safe resort experience and play.
We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation.

Our Dress Code

Arrival, After Your Round & Use of the Clubhouse

  • ・Blazers or jackets are requested upon arrival. To help prevent heat-related illness, wearing a blazer or jacket is optional from May 1 through October 31.
  • ・Please refrain from arriving at the club wearing T-shirts, tank tops, or jeans.
  • ・Please refrain from arriving in sandals or sneakers.

On the Golf Course

The following types of attire are not permitted on the golf course:

  • ・Hot pants, mini skirts, and tennis skirts/skorts.
  • ・Blousons, jumpers, and T-shirt-style tops, including boat-neck, henley-neck, and undershirt-style garments.
  • ・Tank tops, camisoles, and other clothing that leaves excessive areas of the body exposed.

Other Attire Guidelines

  • ・Please wear collared golf or sportswear, including turtleneck tops, and tuck your shirt into your trousers. To help prevent heat-related illness, shirts may be worn untucked from July 1 through October 31.
    *Women may wear untucked over-blouses.
  • ・If wearing a collarless jumper, sweater, cardigan, or similar garment with a V-neck or crew neck, it must be worn over a collared shirt or a high-neck shirt without a folded collar.
  • ・When wearing shorts, socks that cover the ankles must be worn.
  • ・For safety and protection against heat-related illness, hats or visors are recommended.
  • ・Please do not wear towels around your neck or shoulders.

Clubhouse & On-Course Etiquette

  • ・Metal golf spikes are not permitted in order to protect the greens, facilities, and surrounding environment.
  • ・Smoking is permitted only in designated areas.
  • ・During play, please smoke only near the ashtrays provided in designated areas around the teeing grounds.
  • ・Please refrain from using mobile phones on the course whenever possible. In the restaurant and clubhouse, please refrain from loud conversations and mobile phone use.
  • ・Please be considerate of other players and maintain a quiet and respectful atmosphere within the clubhouse.
  • ・Please help us keep the washbasins and surrounding areas clean and pleasant for everyone.

For a Smooth Pace of Play

  • ・Please be at the starting tee at least 10 minutes before your scheduled tee time.
  • ・Please aim to complete each nine holes within approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes.
  • ・When searching for a ball that may have entered the woods or a hazard, please take two or three clubs with you to avoid unnecessary delays.
  • ・If there is a gap of one or more holes between your group and the group ahead, and a group behind is waiting to play, please allow the following group to play through.

For Safe and Enjoyable Play

  • ・Please repair all ball marks on the greens.
  • ・Please take care not to drag your spikes across the greens.
  • ・Please enter and exit bunkers from their lowest point. After playing your shot, rake the sand and leave the bunker in good condition.
  • ・Before every shot, carefully check the area ahead and your surroundings to ensure that it is safe to play. Please take every precaution to prevent shots from reaching other players or causing accidents.

Important Safety Information Regarding Golf Carts

  • ・Golf carts should, as a general rule, be operated by the caddie. Never attempt to get on or off a moving cart.
  • ・While riding in the cart, always hold onto the handrails or other designated supports and keep your hands, feet, and other body parts inside the cart.
