A wide middle hole. Aim slightly left off the tee to avoid the right-side bunkers. The view of Kokuryu Pond from the tee adds to the appeal, and the second shot can be played with confidence and rhythm.

A relatively short long hole. Be mindful of the bunkers on both sides when teeing off. Long hitters may have a chance to reach the green in two, but the undulating terrain and strategically placed bunkers make this a challenging hole.

A straight middle hole with a tense layout, featuring a right-side bunker and out-of-bounds left. The uphill second shot is challenging, so laying up for a safer approach is a wise strategy.

HOLE 9PAR 4

A right dogleg middle hole. Aim left off the tee to avoid the right-side bunkers. With a pond guarding the right of the green, laying up and attacking with the third shot is the ideal strategy.

A straight, “horseback”-shaped hole. Keeping the tee shot on the fairway is crucial. The second shot is typically laid up, setting up a decisive third shot. The views of Karatsu city and the Tenzan Mountains add to the hole’s appeal.

A left dogleg hole played over a valley. Hit the tee shot with a smooth, controlled swing. For the second shot, be mindful of bunkers on both sides. The long green at the back can be challenging if distance control is off.

A middle hole played over a valley. On the tee shot, clear the front pine trees with a high trajectory. The second shot makes the green hard to see, so approach carefully, avoiding the front bunker and focusing on a controlled landing.

A signature short hole. A large Allison bunker guards the front of the green, with additional bunkers surrounding it. The wide green favors a controlled shot that lands softly, making distance control the key to success.
